Sisters Tour the Kennedy Center

On the first Preparation Day of November,
a group of sisters toured

On the top deck of the Kennedy Center, overlooking downtown DC.
L-R:  Sister Nolte, me, Sisters Everton,  Cain, Higginson and Maughan
at the west entry.

From the Hall of Nations…

… through the red Chinese-design glass doors...

… red-carpeted grand foyer.
… into the chandelier-draped,

Millennium Theater on the left, Eisenhower Theater on the right.
Looking out from the balcony in front of the
Presidential Box to the Opera House...

… to the outer deck overlooking the Potomac River.
The mission of John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is to fulfill President Kennedy’s vision by producing and presenting the greatest examples of music, dance, and theater; supporting artists in the creation of new work; and serving the nation as a leader in arts education.
